Last year Polymaker announced the development of their new 3D print post-processing technology the Polysher and PolySmooth. With the combination of Polymakers Polysher machine and their PolySmooth filament, users can improve the surface finish of their 3D Printed part, saying goodbye to those ugly FDM 3D printed layer lines.
The Polysher generates an aerosol of isopropyl alcohol that evenly lands on the PolySmooth printed part. Over the course of 10-40 minutes the subtle “ridges and valleys” on the surface of the 3D printed part are smoothed and eliminated, resulting in a part that looks similar to an injection moulded part!
