Features & Quality Control

Jam Free

Polymakers patented Jam-Free technology dramatically improves the heat stability of their PLA filaments. PolyPlus PLA has a high softening temperature of more than 140 °C, over 80 degrees higher than other PLA filaments. While printing PolyPlus will never soften in the “cold end” and can melt rapidly once entering the heating zone, resulting in extremely smooth printing and no more nozzle jams!

Colourful

PolyPlus is available in 11 fun vibrant Opaque colours (Red, Blue, Yellow, Orange, Teal, Blue, Purple, Green, Grey, Black and White) and 4 Translucent colours (Translucent Blue, Red, Orange and Yellow) that offer a fun crystal shine. With so many colours to choose from, we are confident you will find the right choice for your 3D prints.

Safe & Clean

PolyPlus PLA is produced exclusively using Natureworks Inego PLA resin. Printing with PolyPlus PLA does not release nasty hazardous odours, ensuring a safe and clean 3D printing experience. The PLA resin they use is certified for food contact and is also completely biodegradable. Polymaker have ensured PolyPlus PLA has one of the most eco-responsible manufacturing processes in the industry to minimise their impact on our environment.

Uncompromised Quality

PolyPlus PLA is produced with Polymakers patented Jam-Free technology so you can be certain you will enjoy the ease of printing high quality PLA prints without the hassle of Nozzle-Jams.

Polymaker are market leaders for quality in the 3D Printing Industry. All Polymaker filaments go through an 8 step process of quality control to ensure the filament that reaches your door meets the quality expectations of Polymakers experienced technicians.

Packaging

All Polymaker filaments are spooled and vacuum sealed in resealable plastic bags. Polymaker have recently started rolling out new packaging for all their filaments. This new packaging features a new transparent spool which allows the filaments colour to stand out and further complement the Polymaker logo. This new design will allow customers to easily monitor the amount of material being used.

This transition is still undergoing for some product ranges, so the packaging you receive may contain Polymakers original branding including their black spools. Rest assured you can be sure the products you receive are, and will always be, the same quality standard that you have come to expect from Polymaker. The product sheet Polymaker send with their new packaging is available to download.
