PolyMax PLA is a special PLA blend with an increased Impact resistance up to 9 times better than regular PLA and 20% Better than ABS. The excellent printing quality and great mechanical strength of PolyMax PLA makes this material a favourite in a variety of fields, especially amongst prototype designers. 

PolyMax PLA prints with no noticable warping, this excellent warping resistance and high printing quality makes PolyMax PLA the perfect material for people that require parts with very fine/accurate dimensions; like architectual models, prototypes, props, medical (models for study) and more.

Extremely Tough

Regular PLA is a very brittle material, limiting its applications. PolyMax PLA was developed to offer the easy printing associated with PLA and fantastic mechanical strength. PolyMax features an increased impact strength of up to 9 times that of regular PLA and 20% better than ABS.

Warp Free

In optimal 3D printing conditions PolyMax printed parts show no noticeable warping! In addition to excellent warping resistance, impact resistance and ductile strength, PolyMax offers better printer compatibility, easier printing and no hazardous odours making this material a fantastic replacement for ABS in a variety of circumstances.

Build platform
All Polymaker products work well with common build plate surfaces such as the blue tape, Kapton tape, glass, etc. However for the best user experience, we recommend that you use Polymaker materials with BuildTak™, a build plate surface designed specifically for desktop FDM/FFF printers.

Packaging

All Polymaker filaments are spooled and vacuum sealed in resealable plastic bags. Polymaker have recently started rolling out new packaging for all their filaments. This new packaging features a new transparent spool which allows the filaments colour to stand out and further complement the Polymaker logo. This new design will allow customers to easily monitor the amount of material being used.

This transition is still undergoing for some product ranges, so the packaging you receive may contain Polymakers original branding including their black spools. Rest assured you can be sure the products you receive are, and will always be, the same quality standard that you have come to expect from Polymaker.
